Summary report from YDEKC's Fall 2016 SEL Symposium
This report briefly summarizes the content, format, and shared learning from YDEKC’s fall 2016 Social Emotional Learning Symposium. The event, held at the Tukwila Community Center, drew 80 leaders from across sectors to advance local understanding of current SEL initiatives; place SEL in a larger context by tying it to related opportunity gap closure efforts; and promote professional connections between leaders of SEL efforts across sectors.
