YDEKC’s Virtual House Party

YDEKC would like to invite you to celebrate the collective power of youth-serving organizations at our first virtual house party and fundraiser! As a coalition of over 100 organizations, YDEKC does what no single organization can to do to ensure “whole child, whole day” support for young people — our collective impact continues to grow thanks to your support!

Join us to hear stories directly from our Member Organizations and partners about YDEKC’s work to connect, strengthen, and amplify the leaders of youth-serving organizations so that Black, Indigenous, and youth of color in King County thrive. Our event will include interactive activities, our short Story of YDEKC video, and YDEKC Member stories.

Help fuel YDEKC’s work in support of Thriving Leaders, Thriving Organizations, and Thriving Youth by supporting us on November 16 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

At YDEKC we seek to provide events that are accessible and welcoming to all. Here is a list of some of the ways we are making this event accessible:

• Inviting registrants to share accommodation requests when they register, at least two weeks before the event;
• Sharing participant expectations in the event description — such as whether there will be breaks, breakout rooms, and types of engagement;
• Providing multiple ways to join virtual events — for example, via computer or phone;
• Automated closed captioning and transcription will be available during the sessions (excluding breakout rooms) via Zoom’s Live Transcription feature.
