On April 22, 2022, YDEKC hosted a Thriving Leaders Forum on Reimagining Pay Equity in Youth-serving Nonprofits. Our keynote panelists shared strategies ranging from developing a compensation policy than aligns with organizational values to using innovative pay matrixes that begin with the same starting wage for every position to redefining expectations around what level of pay should be offered. Staff of youth-serving organizations are invited to join a multi-agency cohort to support resilience and well-being among professionals serving youth and families.
If we believe cross-sector partnerships are fundamental to achieving and sustaining student success, then what are we doing to develop and maintain lasting partnerships between schools and community-based organizations? In this session we will define sustainability and identify applicable practices within relationship building, strategic communication, documentation, partnership and program quality, and resource development.
