Racial Equity Community of Practice Applications
YDEKC is “committed to building a society where race is not a predictor of one’s success. We must address racism and racial inequities in our own organizations and institutions while also working for the policies, programs and systems in other sectors that will lead to optimum outcomes for all.”
It is for this reason – the need to tackle equity issues within our own organizations – that we are excited to announce the launch of our Racial Equity Community of Practice facilitated by our friends at the Nonprofit Assistance Center (NAC). The Community of Practice is open to YDEKC Member Organizations, represented by one or two individuals who are actively engaged with implementing or leading racial equity focused work within their own organization.
